THE MATERIAL WAS TESTED AT A CONCN OF 4%, IN PETROLATUM AND PRODUCED SENSITIZATION REACTIONS IN THREE OF THE 25 TEST SUBJECTS.

It is obtained from the ripe fruit of the umbelliferous perennial herb Cumin or Foeniculum vulgare, which is dried, ground and steam distilled. The yield is about 5.0%. Mainly produced in France, Italy, etc., also produced in my country's Gansu and other places.

Uses

Flavoring agent in foods and pharmaceuticals.Used in eye washes and in facial steams to soothe and clean skin.
