Sodium antimonate Use and Manufacturing
In the sodium nitrate method, the antimony block is crushed, mixed with sodium nitrate, and heated in a reaction furnace with air to react. The obtained crude sodium antimonate is cooled, crushed, leached with nitric acid for further reaction, and then filtered, dried, and crushed to obtain a finished sodium antimonate. 4NaNO3+4Sb+3O2→4NaSbO3+2NO+2NO2 chlorination method mixes crude antimony trioxide powder with acid, reacts 3～4 at 70～75℃ to generate antimony trichloride, filter and remove impurities, pass at 65℃ Chlorine is chlorinated to produce antimony pentachloride. Add water to hydrolyze to precipitate antimony, wash and remove impurities, filter and neutralize excess alkali to generate sodium antimonate, and then vacuum filter, wash, centrifuge, dry, crush, and sieve to obtain sodium antimonate.
Used as clarifying agent for kinescope, optical glass and various high-grade glass, flame retardant for textiles and plastic products, opalescent agent for enamel, opaque filler for manufacturing paint for castings, and composition of acid-proof paint for iron sheet and steel plate, used in chemical analysis Used to identify sodium ions.
