Drug Function and Efficacy

Sulbactam has no antibacterial activity against other bacteria except Neisseria and Acinetobacter, but it has an irreversible inhibitory effect on most important β-lactamases produced by β-lactam antibiotic-resistant strains. Sulbactam has a significant synergistic effect with penicillins and cephalosporins.

Ingredients	This product is a compound preparation, its components are piperacillin sodium and sulbactam sodium. Piperacillin sodium and sulbactam sodium are composed in a ratio of (2:1). Each vial of this product is 1.5g, containing 1.0g of piperacillin and 0.5g of sulbactam.
Indication	1. When this product is used in combination with probenecid, it can reduce the renal clearance of this product and prolong its half-life. 2. When this product is used simultaneously with tobramycin, it can reduce the area under the curve and renal clearance of tobramycin. 3. The activity of aminoglycoside antibiotics can be reduced due to the presence of penicillin. 4. When piperacillin is used simultaneously with the non-polar muscle relaxant vecuronium, the neuromuscular blocking effect of vecuronium can be prolonged. 5. When piperacillin is taken simultaneously with heparin, oral anticoagulants and other drugs that may affect the blood coagulation system and platelet function, coagulation indicators should be monitored regularly.

Ingredients	This product is a compound preparation, its components are mezlocillin sodium and sulbactam sodium.
Indication	When this product is used simultaneously with high-dose heparin and anticoagulants, coagulation parameters should be monitored. Probenecid can inhibit the renal excretion of this product.
