Tantalum carbide (TaC) Use and Manufacturing
Tantalum oxide carbonization method uses tantalum pentoxide and carbon black as raw materials to prepare tantalum carbide: fully mix 1 rnol tantalum pentoxide and 7 mol carbon black, put them in a reduction furnace, and heat and reduce them at l500°C in hydrogen or vacuum lh, tantalum carbide powder is obtained. Or in inert gas heated to 1900 ℃ reduction system. In order to improve product quality, firstly, primary carbide is formed by carbonization in an inert gas, and then tantalum carbide is formed by secondary carbonization under vacuum.
Combined with tungsten carbide and niobium carbide to make super hard alloy.
