Founded in 1969, China Resources Zizhu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.(CRZP) is a high-tech enterprise with activities in pharmaceutical development, manufacture, and marketing in domestic and foreign markets. Located at Chaoyang District of Beijing, CRZP covers an area of 122,000 m2, with 60,000 m2 of floor area and 40% coverage of green land. CRZP has over 1,400 employees, four GMP-certified facilities, a quality control center, a R&D center, and certificates of GMP, ISO9001:2000, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001. Over more than 40 years development, CRZP has formed a plane-shaped product structure，that is, taking family planning drugs and reproductive health drugs as the main body, ophthalmologic drugs and healthcare products as the two wings. Now, it is the largest research and production base for family planning medicines in China. In 2006, CRZP invested and established a new API production base, Qinhuangdao Zizhu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd (QZP), which was designed, built and qualified according to the stringent international standards and the cGMP requirements. QZP begun to produce steroid hormone APIs in 2009 and was granted one CEP for Levonorgestrel in 2010.
