 Founded in December, 2004, SHAOXING ZHONGKE BAIYUN CHEMICAL is a comprehensive company specializing in the technical R&D, pilot-scale production, production trade and technological promotion of chemical APIs and intermediates. Located in Zhejiang Hangzhou Bay Shangyu Industrial Park, Shangyu Zhongke Baiyun Fine Chemical R&D Center Co., Ltd. was co-established by Zhejiang Zhongxin Chemicals Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Research Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). As the provider of technology, talent, inspection and information, Shanghai Research Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) owns 30% shares of our company and Zhejiang Zhongxin Chemicals Co., Ltd. owns 70% shares as the manufacturing base of our company. Covering an area of 33,350 sqm, we now have one R&D building, one pilot-scale production plant (equipped with 20L to 50L glass equipments), 3 pilot-scale production plants (100L to 5,000L), and complete facilities such as power, steam, refrigeration, water supply and drainage, sewage treatment, firefighting and so on. There are 3 sections in R&D building, including R & D center, analysis and test center and administrative center. Besides common test apparatus, there are special experimental equipments in our R & D center such as high pressure reaction kettle, reaction bath at low temperature (-100°C), reflux ratio adjustable high efficient distillation device (60 of theoretical plate number) and so on. There are several analysis and test equipment in our analysis and test center, including GC, LC, polarimeter, moisture tester, Melting point tester, conductivity meter and spectrophotometer; most of our GC and LC are made by Agilent and Shimadzu; especially, our analysis and test center is equipped with high-class devices, including GC with Head Space Sampler and Automatic sampler, PDA detector, LC with Automatic sampler, preparative liquid chromatograph with Automatic collect function, etc. There are LC and Chiral chromatographic column to have chiral analysis too. There are dozens of reaction kettles (Enamel, stainless steel, carbon steel, capacity from 100 to 5,000L) in pilot-scale production plants, which are also equipped with Rectification tower, centrifuges, filter pressing tank, precision filter, low temperature cold bath, high temperature hot oil bath and so on. In addition, there is a low temperature reaction equipment in our pilot-scale production plant, and this device can have reaction even at -100°C. There are several medium/low pressure (Pressure is less than 10MPa) hydrogenation equipments in our plants either. We lay great stress on the construction of talent team, and own an experienced R&D team with well-organized technicians, more than 25% of them have master or doctor degree, and rest have educations of college. Taking the advantages of Shanghai Research Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) on HR and technology, we now own extraordinary prominent dominant on the research and development of products and technologies. At the same time, we establish closely cooperative relationships with famous universities of China such as Zhejiang University, Zhejiang University of Technology and East China University of Science and Technology. Through making regular exchanges on projects, technology and talents, we have the good ability to ensure a powerful R&D capacity of our company. Based on technical creativity, we commit to the R&D of synthesis methods of APIs and intermediates, product manufacturing, and technical promotion. With years' hard working, we have accumulated rich experiences for the R&D of synthesis methods and pilot-scale manufacturing of APIs and intermediates, and some of our products have been put into industrial production now. Besides normal reactions, we are also very skilled in several types of reactions: Halogen exchange fluorination reaction, Halogenating reaction, nitration reaction, Schiemann reaction, Sandmeyer reaction, Diazonium salt Hydrolysis reaction, Friedel-Crafts reaction, organometallic reactions and several types of reduction reactions. Based on present conditions of our company for R&D and production, we also can have some special reactions, I. e. High temperature reaction (350°C, hot oil bath), reaction at low temperature (-100°C, liquid nitrogen bath), medium/ low-pressure reaction (less than 10MPa) and so on. Our R&D center can have product synthesis from gram to kilogram level. The pilot-scale plant of glass equipment can have production from kg to 100kg, and other pilot-scale plants can have production in 100kg to ton level. Especially, we can have industrial production in the manufacturing plant of Zhejiang Zhongxin Chemicals Co., Ltd.
