Elekeiroz SA is a Publicly-traded company, controlled by the holding company Itaúsa – Investimentos Itaú SA and, considering the segment in which it operates, stands as the largest Brazilian producer of chemical intermediates for industrial use. In South America, it is the only integrated producer of Oxo Alcohols (2-Ethylhexanol, n-Butanol, Isobutanol) and 2-Ethyl Hexanoic Acid, Phthalic and Maleic Anhydrides, and several types of Plasticizers, being the largest manufacturer in Brazil for this latter chemical. Add Urea Formaldehyde Concentrate, Fumaric Acid and Polyester Resins to these intermediates to fulfill the Company’s entire segment of organic products. Completing the portfolio, the Company also produces Sulfuric Acid, an inorganic chemical.
