Oxiris is a leading manufacturer of antioxidants with manufacturing plants in Spain (Sant Celoni near Barcelona) and Germany (Ludwigshafen). The Spanish and German plants focus on final antioxidant products with a production capacity of more than 20.000 tons per year, using the latest manufacturing technology to fulfil the most stringent quality requirements of the market.Antioxidants are used to protect materials against negative influences such as oxidation, embrittlement, gumming or changes in colour or smell (becoming rancid). The antioxidants are marketed under the well-established IONOL? brand. The main applications of the Oxiris antioxidants are in segments such as plastics, rubber and latex, lubricants and fuels (petrol, diesel, biodiesel and jet fuel), foodstuff and feedstuff, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, as well as coatings and printing inks.
