NBS Biologicals Ltd is a supplier of molecular biology reagents, kits and chemicals to the research industry. In addition to representing several major international brands in the UK we have also introduced our own 'NBS' range of electorphoresis products and are able to source reagents and chemicals in research and bulk quantities.Our current brands are Amresco, Dojindo, Spectrum, ABM, GenePharma, Fibercell and Dynamic Adsorbents.Our company started trading as an independent company in December 1994, but our history dates back to the 1950\\\'s.The original business was Koch-Light Laboratories, set up in Colnbrook, Buckinghamshire and later moved to Haverhill, Suffolk. Koch-Light was taken over by Genzyme in the 1970\\\'s and by New Brunswick Scientific in 1987. New Brunswick refocused the business towards Life Science, changed the name to NBS Biologicals and in 1989, consolidated the operation with their equipment business in North Mymms, Hertfordshire.NBS Biologicals was acquired privately in 1994 and has been trading from the Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire premises since then. We still supply many of the former Koch-Light products, as well as a comprehensive range of other speciality reagents and products for research laboratories worldwide.In September 2000, NBS joined forces with Madgebio Ltd, a company specialising in a patented system for high throughput electrophoresis which is being marketed worldwide.
