Lotioncrafter LLC was founded by Jennifer (Jenny) Welch in 2002, a natural successor to Caprabella, the popular brand of goat milk soaps, lotions and sundries she started in 1996. Rediscovering a love of chemistry that had been set aside in the pursuits of other business interests, Jenny’s epiphany came when she realized that the right combination of her experience and her interest in cosmetic formulations was embodied in the new company, Lotioncrafter. Proving to be the most suitable platform for launching the new products her formulations produced, Lotioncrafter gave her exposure to the wide and growing audience of small-business cosmetic crafting. The rest, as they say, is history – Lotioncrafter quickly grew to become a watchword for innovative yet affordable cosmetic ingredients ideally suited to the focused markets our clients support. Her initial business career in the highly competitive distribution markets of Chicago and New York established the foundation of Jenny’s belief that effective communication and a consistently high level of customer service are the natural companions of quality products and fair pricing. Close attention to customer needs, a strong commitment to provide the finest ingredients suited to a wide range of product formulations, and careful tracking of each shipment allows us to provide constant updates for each order. We tailor each shipment to the needs of each customer, make every effort to ship the same day each order is placed, and track all shipments to delivery. Jennifer’s experience in international trade gives her strong insights into the value of intensive customer service and cost effective shipment pricing, while the innovative formulations that lead to our constantly-renewed product offerings arise from her relentless search for improvement. Well-grounded in product formulations, Jennifer’s natural curiosity leads her to investigate new and exciting ingredients perfectly suited to our growing customer base from the hobbyist, to small businesses and large enterprises. Stringent product testing and a high level of quality control insure our customer orders contain only the finest materials. Operating from our facility on a small island in the far northwest corner of Washington State, Lotioncrafter provides high quality materials that have been rigorously tested in professional laboratory environments at affordable prices designed to support the needs of the personal care industry.
