Kimflor Kimya A.S. was established as a 50%-50% partnership of Kimens Kimya Endustrisi A.S. and Floridienne Chimie S.A., a Belgian company, in 1999. A joint venture partnership, Kimflor Kimya A.S. started its operations with a capital of 12 mio US dollars in Izmir, Turkey. The Turkish partner of Kimflor, Kimens Kimya Endustrisi A.S., was established to produce PVC stabilisers and Polymer additives in Izmir in 1986. Thanks to its production with high precision and its perfect brand image, it was awarded the'2000 International Award for the Best Tradename', thus strengthening its quality claim in the sector. It constantly grew and became one of the leading corporations in the sector in Turkey with its technolgy, specialized staff and experience of 15 years. And other partner of Kimflor, Floridienne Chimie S.A., is a Belgian chemical firm which is one of the most significant corporations in its subject matter with its 106 years' background not only in Belgium but in the world as well. Floridienne Chimie S.A. having combined its broad buildup of information with its experience spread over many years is a world brand which has ensured its name to be recalled with quality in the sector. Established with the partnership of the two companies, Kimflor Kimya A.S. produces PVC stabilisers and Polymer additives. While it causes its weight to be felt in the sector with its founding companies and experienced executives, it has become one of the few firms which could develop production technologies.
