Profile: Southcoast Foam & Fibreglass specializes in supplying laminating, sanding & finishing resins, solvents, epoxy resins and fluorescent paints. Surfboard laminating resin bonds the fiberglass cloth to the foam blank. It is wax free, and does not require sanding. Surfboard filler resin is a waxed easily sanded polyester resin designed to be used in the surf board glossing process. Surfboard gloss finish resin is ideal for gloss finish on mals. West System 105 hardener can be cured in a wide temperature range to form a high-strength solid with moisture resistance. It is designed specifically to wet and bond with wood, fiberglass, reinforcing fabrics, metals & a variety of other materials. Fast Hardener 205 is used in a majority of situations, at lower temperatures to produce a rapid cure that develops its physical properties quickly at room temperature.
