Profile: Molecular Technology (MolTech)GmbH supplies crystals. We offer anti stokes phosphors, long afterglow phosphors, UV-emitting phosphors, IR to IR & UV to IR phosphors, flash (PSE), and electroluminescent phosphors. The most commonly used electro-optical crystal is DKDP with a deuteration more than 98%. These crystals are grown by a water-solution method and are grown up to very large sizes. Therefore, they are available as low-cost and large-size finished non-linear components. barium nitrate Ba(NO3)2 crystals are used as stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) converters that provide non-linear conversion of frequency radiation of laser due to the stimulated Raman scattering effect. They are used as frequency converters in tunable lasers for the extension of tuning range, for the production of additional emission band combined with the elements of doubling and summation of frequency, as well as optical filter for wave band 1.8-2.4 µm. lithium fluoride (LiF) crystals are suitable for manufacturing optical elements such as mirrors, windows & lenses, for UV, visible and IR applications. These crystals are optically isotropic, moderately hard, hygroscopic, and insoluble in water. Magnesium fluoride (MgF2) is the only optical material that combines the wide spectral transmittance band with birefringence phenomenon and satisfactory thermal expansion coefficient for isotropic cross-section. It is used for UV-radiation sources, for the manufacturing of receivers windows, for optical elements of interference-polarization filters, as laser resonator optics elements in quantum electronics and as an active material in IR & sub millimeter band.
