Profile: ERCO Worldwide is the largest producer of sodium chlorate in North America and the second largest in the world with the world's largest installed base of modern chlorine dioxide generators. It is also the second largest producer of potassium products in North America. ERCO also provides technical services for installations of chlorine dioxide, sodium chlorate and bleach chemical preparation facilities. ERCO Worldwide has a long history of producing chemicals including supplying environmentally preferred chlorine dioxide technology to the pulp and paper industry. ERCO Worldwide's chloralkali business serves a variety of industries including municipal and industrial water treatment, food processing, fertilizers, agricultural intermediates, and oil and gas. ERCO Worldwide is a division of Superior Plus LP, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Superior Plus Income Fund.
