We started the production of hydrazine in 1950 and established Japan Hydrazine company, Inc. as a joint company between Japan Gas Chemical company, Inc. (present Mitsubishi Gas Chemical company, Inc.) and Masuda Chemistry Industries Co.,Ltd in 1959.Afterwards we started the production development centering on hydrazine derivatives and entered into the production of antibiotics medicine intermediates since 1971.Among hydrazine derivatives, sodium azide came to be used as the gas generant agent for the air bag.In 1993 the world's largest facility to produce sodium azide started operation.Utilizing the accumulation of the technique to handle safely dangerous objects class-5 in the fire laws, and the technology of synthesis, we produce sodium azide as the gas generant agent and itsderivatives, 5-aminotetrazole, bistetrazole, tetrazole amine.In addition, we produce and sell triazoles, tetrazoles and azides as the intermediates for medicines, agricultural chemicals and photo resists.We seek to become a company making the optimum use of flexibility as a only small to medium business sized business can do.Thus all the employees are asked to continue focusing on developing technology and improving customer's feeling of never ending satisfaction .
