Avatar CorporationFounded in 1982 Avatar Corporation is a manufacturer and distributor of raw materials and ingredients for the food, drug, and cosmetic industries. We are a privately held, Illinois corporation. Our principal offices and plant are located on a 23-acre site in University Park, Illinois. We operate in full compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practice —cGMP and have been assigned a Permanent Drug Registration Number by the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA). Avatar is on target to be the leader in specialty release agents and lubricants for the food and drug industries. A major player in the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Industries, Avatar Corporation supplies: The Food IndustryBaking- specialty vegetable oils, divider oils, bread pan oils, trough greases and specialty shortenings. These products are utilized as release agents, shortenings and food-grade lubricants for specific equipment used in the conveyance, forming and processing of bakery products. Confectionary- specialized release agents including slab, belt and kettle lubricants to assure effective release, extended shelf life and product clarity. Meat and Poultry- Avatar Corporation has received USDA authorization for all Citation? and Avatech?
