Since it\’s foundation in 1980, Chematek has gone from strength to strength, and today counts 6 offices located in strategic locations worldwide.Relying on this well coordinated and managed infrastructure, Chematek, strives to achieve the best possible value for its customers and to this day, its founding principles remain unchanged; to fulfill the vital role, of trusted supplier and partner to it\’s clients. With warehouses, offices and agents spread across Europe, Chematek has built, over the years, a distinguished and solid portfolio of contracts and customers ensuring its present success in the marketplace.Chematek’s main asset are it’s people, who being very technically oriented can understand the complicated needs of the very demanding Chemical Industry, at the same time not forgetting to play a responsible role in environmental, social and business issues. Chematek has two main operational fields of activity, namely Fine Chemicals and Petrochemicals.The Fine Chemicals division is split into two departments; International trading and domestic sales, the former taking care of the Italian accounts, the latter following the global market requirements of its international customers. The Fine Chemical division is continually developing new products and fulfills the existing requirements to the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, Metal Finishing, Polymer, Textile, Photographic, food and dye intermediate industries.In addition to these sectors, Chematek has also developed an enviable line of reducing agents, which assist customers with complicated synthesis requirements so to avoid environmental and cost constraints on their productions.This division also manages the relations with the suppliers who have appointed Chematek, exclusive distributor in Italy, Europe and in certain cases, also globally. Chematek is also, but not only, known for supplying products from Asia, particularly China and India.With offices in Shanghai and Mumbai, we are able to guarantee and maintain product quality and sourcing. Having pioneered these markets already for 20 years, Chematek has developed a unique capacity to move around in these markets with knowledge and ease and works extensively with the leading manufacturers, research institutes and trading houses.The Petrochemical division specializes in supplying and assisting the oil industry and many other manufacturing operations, with additives and ingredients. These products are aimed to solving specific quality requirements or to improve them beyond legal specification. Chematek also supplies products to improve their existing processes and prevent potential damages to equipment, machinery and the environment. Although operating primarily in the oil industry, such additives can be used in many other applications and facilities.Chematek mission is to expand its existing capabilities to new products and product lines, to offer additional services and competencies and cover a ever growing demand from its existing customers and new ones in the fast growing and dynamic chemical industry.
