EQUATE Petrochemicals is a Kuwait-based chemical company founded in 1995 and owned by shareholder groups including Kuwait Petrochemical Company and Dow Chemical Company. It specializes in the production of a wide range of petrochemical products, including ethylene, propylene and polyethylene, for use in industries such as plastics, packaging and automotive.
EQUATE has several manufacturing facilities in Kuwait, including a large-scale ethylene and propylene cracking complex in Ahmadi Governorate, which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and has a total annual production capacity of more than 20 million tons.
In addition to its focus on production, EQUATE also attaches great importance to sustainability and environmental protection and has implemented several initiatives to reduce its carbon footprint, including the use of renewable energy and the development of more efficient manufacturing processes.
