The Beijing Youth Daily reporter noted that it is strictly forbidden to sell or use ultra-thin plastic bags, and that supermarkets, shopping malls, markets, etc., are not allowed to provide free plastic bags, etc. are all within the scope of supervision and inspection.

The new version of the "Regulations" not only focuses on garbage classification, but also proposes reductions, and clearly stipulates the provision and use of plastic bags on the market. It stipulates that it is prohibited to produce and sell ultra-thin plastic bags in this city. Supermarkets, shopping malls, bazaars and other commodity retail places shall not use ultra-thin plastic bags or provide free plastic bags. If ultra-thin plastic bags are used in retail outlets such as supermarkets, shopping malls, and markets, the market supervision and administration department shall order an immediate correction and impose a fine of more than 5,000 yuan but less than 10,000 yuan; if they violate the regulations again, they shall be fined more than 10,000 yuan and 50,000 yuan The following fines.

Yesterday, the Beijing Municipal Market Supervision Bureau stated that in accordance with the relevant regulations, the Bureau will carry out supervision and inspection of plastic bag production enterprises and shopping malls, supermarkets, markets and other commodity retail places in this city, and strictly supervise and manage plastic bags. The Municipal Market Supervision Administration introduced the specific requirements for the use and sale of plastic bags in this city ’s retail outlets.

Prohibit the production and sale of ultra-thin plastic bags in this city. The production, sale and use of plastic bags with a thickness of less than 0.025 mm (including 0.025 mm) are prohibited. At the same time, the plastic bags used by commercial enterprises and operators in the consumer goods and means of production markets must be printed with the name of the enterprise or the market in which they are located.

Marketing units should strengthen supervision and inspection of the sales and use of plastic bags by operators in the market, and designate counters or stalls to sell qualified plastic bags to other operators in the market in a concentrated manner.

Supermarkets, shopping malls, markets and other commodity retail places shall not provide plastic bags free of charge, and the price shall be clearly marked according to law. The retail outlets of commodities shall separately list the quantity, unit price and payment of plastic shopping bags purchased by consumers on the sales vouchers, except for themarkets operated in the form of rental stalls, where it is indeed difficult for consumers to issue sales vouchers. Commodity retail establishments can independently set the price of plastic shopping bags, but there are four situations that cannot occur: selling plastic shopping bags below operating costs; selling plastic shopping bags without indicating the price or according to the prescribed content method; using discounts or other methods Not to sell plastic shopping bags to consumers at the marked prices; to provide plastic shopping bags to consumers free of charge or in disguise.

It is understood that China has implemented the "Plastics Restriction Order" since June 1, 2008. The notice clearly states that from June 1, 2008, production and sales will be prohibited nationwide. 1.
