Butane to acetone pilot project passed theacceptance of group company
In the afternoon of November 9, Qu Chunlin,general manager of Wanda Group's President Office, led a team to the WITProduction Division of Tianhong Company to inspect and accept the butane toacetone pilot project. Li Zengang, assistant to the chairman of the board ofdirectors of Wanda Group and executive president of Wanda Petrochemical Group,Jia Tongchun, executive director of Wanda Petrochemical Research Institute, andJia Huaixing, general manager of WIT Production Division of Tianhong Company,attended the acceptance.
The acceptance team inspected the operationof the plant on site and made a detailed inspection of the key equipment andthe central control room. Then, the acceptance team went to the conference roomon the first floor of the production division of WIT to listen to the projectintroduction in detail, and made a detailed review of the information of thedevice.
Through field inspection, listening to thereport and reviewing the information, the acceptance team gave high recognitionto the butane to acetone pilot project and was full of hope for the future ofthe project, the acceptance team unanimously agreed that the butane to acetonepilot project passed the acceptance.
It is reported that the butane to acetonepilot project uses cheap isobutane as raw material to produce acetone, and theprocess route is the first of its kind in China. The project startedconstruction in September 2021 and all construction was completed in September2022, and the plant has now reached the pilot test conditions.
