Coca-Cola to discontinue Tab sugar-free soda

The Coca-Cola Company reportedly announced on Oct. 16 that it will phase out Tab and other "underperforming products" by the end of the year. tab was Coca-Cola's first sugar-free soda, introduced in 1963, and used saccharin as an alternative sweetener. tab has been popular for decades, but the brand has not been as popular as other sugar-free sodas, after a number of studies from other brands. The competition is declining, and that includes other products launched by Coca-Cola itself. It is understood that in recent years, Coca-Cola has been slowly cutting production of Tab. in 2017, Tab in Coca-Cola sales accounted for less than 0.03%. Coca-Cola previously said that it planned to cut the company's 500 brands by more than half, the epidemic outbreak before the plan to "streamline" its beverage product line, the new crown epidemic has prompted it to accelerate the pace of cuts.
