IFAT Munich 2024: Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Waste and Raw Materials Management

The IFAT Munich is the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste, and raw materials management. It takes place every two years and has firmly established itself since its founding in 1966 as an industry meeting place.

 Germany is the core of Europe and one of the world's largest trade centers. The last exhibition attracted 3081 environmental protection companies from 59 countries worldwide, including China, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Poland, Russia, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, and most other countries. Nearly 20 countries have dispatched inspection teams organized by national environmental protection regulatory agencies to observe the previous exhibition.

Professional trade visitors from 168 countries and regions around the world, with over 13500 visitors. Among them, 18% come from the industrial and manufacturing industry, 36% come from the municipal sanitation industry, 9% are private suppliers and processors/operators, 21% are engaged in engineering consulting or other services, 16% work in the trade tavern field or government departments, and many government organizations, environmental officials, industry users, professionals, and purchasers from various countries visited and inspected the exhibition.

Review of IFAT 2022

IFAT 2022 celebrated the successful relaunch of the trade exhibition. It was held in a hybrid format at Messe Munich between 30.05.2022 and 03.06.2022. There were 2,984 exhibiting companies from 59 countries, 50 start-up enterprises, more than 300 speakers, and over 119,000 trade visitors from 155 nations. The event took up a total of 260,000 square metres of event space.
