BorsodChem's MDI Device Resumes Production
On October 31, Wanhua Chemical issued an announcement stating that according to the "Announcement of Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd. on the shut down of production and maintenance of the equipment of its subsidiary BorsodChem Zrt.", the MDI device (yield of 350,000 tons/year) of Wanhua Chemical's subsidiary BorsodChem Zrt. shut down for maintenance and undergone technical transformation to expand its capacity. After the technical transformation, the production capacity will be increased to 400,000 tons/year.
Up to now, the production shutdown, maintenance, technical transformation and capacity expansion of the above-mentioned MDI device have been completed and normal production has resumed.
