SK Capital completes sale of Foremark to affiliates of CC Industries
An affiliate of a fund advised by SK Capital Partners announced it has completed the sale of Foremark Performance Chemicals to an affiliate of CC Industries, the management company of the Crown family's privately held company.
Foremark, acquired by SK Capital in 2017, is a technology-driven producer of patented and proprietary natural gas sweeteners, chemical building blocks and slow-release fertilizers.
Jack Norris, Managing Director of SK Capital said: "SK Capital is honored to partner with Randy Owens and the entire Foremark team. We are proud and appreciative of Foremark's achievements as it becomes the undisputed leader in natural gas sweetening technology. We believe Foremark is well-positioned to continue to grow and thrive under new ownership. We wish all of us at CC Industries and Foremark every success."
Foremark CEO Randy Owens commented: "We are proud of the transformation of Foremark, an SK Capital company. This transaction affirms our reputation as an industry leader in natural gas desulfurization technology. I would like to thank our employees for their dedication and commitment, as well as SK Capital for their support throughout our ownership period. We have significantly strengthened and grown the company while establishing the next phase of Foremark's growth. We are excited to be a part of the CC Industries family."
