Dow joins hands with Alibaba 1688 platform to promote the digitization process

Dow chemical co., LTD. (dow) announced today that its official flagship store in 1688.Com (1688) was officially launched and opened, providing Chinese customers with more convenient online sales services.This is another milestone of dow's digital transformation in China, where dow cooperated with alibaba's 1688 enterprise procurement and wholesale platform.It is also an important measure for dow to continuously improve customer experience and further develop market opportunities.
"China has the world's leading e-commerce trading platform and supporting Internet of things technology, and Chinese consumers have become accustomed to convenient and safe online trading experience.For dow, these market conditions in China provide an ideal scenario for us to expand our online trading, sales and service channels."In August this year, dow signed a contract to enter the 1688 procurement platform.Today, the official flagship store of dow 1688 opens, marking the comprehensive introduction of digital platform in the purchase end and sales end of the supply chain.
Dow 1688 official flagship store (dowchina.1688.com), the first batch of goods shelves have 14 kinds of star products, respectively from dow polyurethane, coating materials and industrial solutions business unit, its applications in polyurethane industry, food, personal care, coatings, automotive, construction decoration, agrochemical, textile and leather processing, etc., and configure the professional team to provide online services.
As a long-term partner of dow's polyurethane business division, Benoit Debecker, vice President of global strategy and business optimization of zhan xin resin, said at the launch ceremony: "dow is our important supplier and partner.
