Clean Science and Technology begins commercial production of 2, 5-Dihydroxy-1, 4-Dithiane
Clean Fino-Chem Limited (CFCL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Clean Science and Technology, has today started commercial production of 2, 5-Dihydroxy-1, 4-Dithiane (DHDT) in a dedicated production area.
The company has achieved significant success by commercializing DHDT. The company will become a major manufacturer of DHDT in the country, leading to demand growth through import substitution.
With the commercialization of DHDT, the value proposition in the pharmaceutical space is further strengthened by creating cross-selling opportunities with dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) customers.
The company developed DHDT utilizing chlorination chemistry, a new addition to its existing chemistry capabilities. Additionally, the commercialization of DHDT (functionally critical specialty chemicals) highlights strong in-house R&D capabilities, supported by collaborative in-house project engineering capabilities.
