Bio-Thera Biopharma Faces Leadership Shakeup as VP Resigns with ￥2.1 Million Salary
On March 6, Bio-Thera Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. announced that it has received a resignation letter from Liu Cuihua, a non-independent director and vice president, who has stepped down for personal reasons. This change takes effect immediately upon delivery to the board.
Liu Cuihua, born in November 1965, holds American nationality and a Ph.D. in biophysical chemistry. She has previously held positions at Corning and Haisco Pharmaceutical. According to Bio-Thera's 2023 annual report, her total compensation for the year was 2.175 million yuan, making her the third-highest paid executive after CEO Li Shengfeng (2.408 million yuan) and VP Yu Jinqian (2.516 million yuan).
In addition to Liu's resignation, Bio-Thera also announced the departure of independent director Wang Jianping, who will no longer hold any position within the company.
