1. Index explanation

Industrial value-added growth rate: that is, the industrial growth rate, which is an index used to reflect the degree of change in the amount of industrial production in a certain period of time. Using this indicator, it is possible to judge the short-term industrial economy's operating trend and the degree of economic prosperity. It is also an important reference and basis for formulating and adjusting economic policies and implementing macro-control.

Product sales rate: is the ratio of sales output value to total industrial output value, used to reflect the connection between production and sales of industrial products.

Export delivery value: refers to the value of products exported by industrial enterprises (including sales to Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) or delivered to the foreign trade department, as well as foreign samples, processing, assembly and compensation The value of products produced by trade, etc.

Average daily product output: Calculated by dividing the total output of industrial enterprises above designated size announced in the current month by the number of calendar days in the month.

Two-year average growth rate: refers to the growth rate calculated using the geometric average method based on the corresponding period in 2019.

2, statistical scope

The statistical scope of industries above designated size is industrial enterprises with annual main business income of 20 million yuan and above.

Due to the annual changes in the scope of industrial enterprises above designated size, in order to ensure that the data of this year is comparable with the previous year, the same period used to calculate the year-on-year growth rate of various indicators such as product output is as consistent as possible with the statistical scope of the current period. There are differences in the caliber of the published data. The main reasons are: (1) The scope of statistical units has changed. Every year, some enterprises reach the scale and are included in the scope of the investigation, and some enterprises withdraw from the scope of investigation due to the smaller scale. There are also impacts such as newly-built enterprises, bankruptcy, and cancellation (revocation) of enterprises. (2) The output data of some enterprise groups (companies) have cross-regional repeated statistics. According to a special survey, the cross-regional repeated output of enterprise groups (companies) has been removed.

3. Investigation method

Industrial production reports of industrial enterprises above designated size are comprehensively investigated on a monthly basis (data exemption for January).

4. Industry classification standards

Implement the National Economic Industry Classification Standard (GB/T 4754-2017)

5. Amendments to quarter-on-quarter data

According to the results of the automatic revision of the seasonal adjustment model, the month-on-month growth rate of the value added of the industrial enterprises above designated size from May 2020 to April 2021 will be revised.
