Investment in Chemical Raw Materials and Chemical Products Manufacturing in The First 10 Months Increased by 17.8% Year-on-year
According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on November 15th, from January to October, national fixed asset investment was 4,45823 billion yuan, an increase of 6.1% year-on-year; an increase of 7.8% from January to October 2019, an average increase of 3.8% in two years. Among them, the investment in the manufacturing of chemical raw materials and chemical products increased by 17.8% year-on-year.
In terms of industries, the investment in the primary industry was 1,164.6 billion yuan, an increase of 11.1%; the investment in the secondary industry was 1,35173 billion yuan, an increase of 11.3%; and the investment in the tertiary industry was 2,990.4 billion yuan, an increase of 3.7%.
In the secondary industry, industrial investment increased by 11.4% year-on-year. Among them, investment in the mining industry increased by 5.0%, investment in the manufacturing industry increased by 14.2%, and investment in the power, heat, gas and water production and supply industries increased by 0.4%.
In the tertiary industry, infrastructure investment (excluding electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply industries) increased by 1.0% year-on-year. Among them, investment in water conservancy management industry increased by 3.4%, investment in public facilities management industry decreased by 0.8%, investment in road transportation industry decreased by 0.2%, and investment in railway transportation industry decreased by 3.5%.
In terms of different regions, investment in the eastern region increased by 7.1% year-on-year, investment in the central region increased by 12.0%, investment in the western region increased by 4.5%, and investment in the northeast region increased by 6.8%.
In terms of registration types, investment by domestic enterprises increased by 5.9% year-on-year, investment by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises increased by 15.7%, and investment by foreign enterprises increased by 1.9%.
