DOTP

This week, the China's DOTP market trend was stable and continued to fall continuously. The upstream octanol continued to fall in a wide range, and the decline continued to expand. The demand for plasticizers from downstream soft materials companies dropped again. Under the resistance of DOTP shipments, the quotations continued.

N-butanol

This week, the overall trend of the China's n-butanol market continued to decline and the cumulative decline was still wide. The manufacturers' downward adjustment continued. Although the manufacturers maintained their stability later this week, the downstream butyl ester factories remained cautious about the demand for n-butanol.

Octanol

This week, the China's octanol market has been steadily declining continuously, and new orders from manufacturers have continued to shrink. In particular, the downstream plasticizer market has become weaker, the sales of finished products in the factory have continued to be sluggish, and actual operations have fallen under inventory pressure.

Caprolactam

The market price of caprolactam in China continued to be weak this week. At the beginning of the week, the caprolactam spot market was weak, and the listing of Sinopec pure benzene continued to be lowered to 6450 CNY/ton. The caprolactam market was more wait-and-see, and some prices on the floor tended to be lower, but there were less heard and negotiations.

Acrylonitrile

In the week ended Nov. 30, acrylonitrile closed narrowly lower in CFR Far East Asia, down $20 to $2,210/mt. This was the lowest level in 13 weeks. Buyers were hesitant to import amid ample domestic supply in China, with East China acrylonitrile prices were 15,300-15,400 yuan/mt, up 100 yuan/mt for the week.
