I. About Bio-based 2022
The 7th International Bio-based Industry Forum and Industry Application Exhibition (Bio-based 2022), with the theme of "Low Carbon" Technology for the Future of Bio-based Industry, will be held at the Sheraton Ningbo East Port Hotel from 23-25 March 2022.
The conference will focus on the 7 major sectors of bio-based energy and chemicals, plastics, rubber, fibres, composites, coatings, products and packaging, dig deeper into the market demand of related mainstream products from upstream and downstream of the industry chain, embrace the terminal, and promote the industrial application of bio-based products.

The event will present 100+ reports from the field of bio-based chemicals and materials, 4+ sessions and a special exhibition on bio-based materials and products will be launched at the same time, and the scale of participation is expected to be 1000+.
Session 1: Bio-based Chemicals and their Innovative Applications Forum
Session 2: Bio-based Fibres and their Innovative Applications
Session 3: Young Scientists Forum
Session 4: The 2nd Green Packaging Innovation and Application Forum
Closed-door discussion.
1. What are the advantages of each of the several synthetic routes of FDCA? What are the most important evaluation indicators?
2. How to reasonably control the price of FDCA, scale up the feasible preparation technology, further expand the market application, open the road of industrialisation of PEF to replace the traditional food packaging materials?
3. How to achieve controlled degradation of PEF materials? How to improve the mechanical properties and appearance of the material through PEF modification?
4. How far away is furandicarboxylic acid and its downstream applications from the industrial end? What is the first application scenario that can be marketed? What difficult market problems have been solved? Are there more economical solutions than this one?
5. What do you think about the new direction of focusing on the development of low-cost bio-based furan dicarboxylic acid (FDCA) preparation technology for bio-based polymers with high costs and few high-performance engineering plastic grades?
