Cosmetic's Discovery of Anti-aging Probiotic Bacteria EPI-7

The name of strain is EPI-7 (the official registered name is Epidermidibacterium keratini), which is expected to become a new generation of raw materials leading the anti-aging market. Therefore, it has attracted much attention and the cosmetics market is expected to form a new mechanism.
Human skin is a complex microbial ecosystem composed of various microorganisms. The role of each microorganism has not been fully confirmed. Cosmetic Raw Materials Laboratory has been searching for and studying anti-aging microorganisms on human skin since 2011.
Samples were collected from more than 100 skin samples of young women aged 20-25 years. Finally, new microorganisms were found in the skin of young women aged 20-25 years.
Cosmetic named it EPI-7, which is a kind of microorganism that can produce a large number of essential fatty acids and lipids for skin.
EPI-7 originated from the skin (epidermis). It was discovered after 7 isolations from more than 100 microorganisms, so it was named `EPI-7'. "The evidence of skin microbes is an important factor in human health is increasing. It has been confirmed that EPI-7 is growing at almost the same temperature as human body temperature, and will be used to release facial mask, essence and plain cream in the future," said the president of Park Myeongsam, R&I center.
On the basis of the original patent of EPI-7, Cosmetic is preparing to register overseas. In addition, it is reported that Cosmetic is cooperating with international pharmaceutical companies and customer companies to study various skin bacteria and aging mechanisms.
In addition, the research and development results have been published in the International Journal of Microbiology Systems Taxonomy (IJSEM), headquartered in the United Kingdom.
