The biggest annual event in chemical safety will be held in Suzhou in October.

From October 31 to November 1, 2019, the 4th China International Symposium and Exhibition on Chemical Process Safety will be held in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, with the theme of "Promoting Chemical Process Safety Management and Effectively Preventing Serious and Extraordinary Accidents".

The seminar was jointly organized by the China Chemical Safety Association, the International Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Emergency Management, the Chemical Registration Center of the Ministry of Emergency Management and the Chemical Process Safety Center of the American Association of Chemical Engineers, including seminars, technical training and exhibitions.

This symposium will focus on all aspects and elements of chemical process safety management, combining with the current key issues of safety production in chemical enterprises, including the technical regulations and standards of chemical process safety management, and the fact that chemical enterprises construct double prevention mechanism. Practice sharing, establishment and implementation of process safety management system, safety assessment technology for fine chemical reaction, risk management and control technology for high-risk processes (nitrification, chlor-alkali, photocatalysis, etc.), emergency disposal technology for major hazards (toxic gases, liquefied gases, highly toxic liquids, etc.), flammable, explosive, toxic and harmful liquefied gases (liquefied hydrocarbons) Safety technology of loading and unloading, such as liquid ammonia, liquid chlorine, etc.

The seminar will have main venues and branch venues. The 7th CCPS China Process Safety Conference will be held at the same time, the 7th Chemical Industry Risk Classification Control and Hidden Danger Investigation and Management Seminar will be held, the National Fine Chemical Reaction Safety Assessment Technical Seminar will be held, and the 2nd Chemical Park Safety Management and Practice Exchange Seminar will be held. Special events such as meetings, seminars on safety management regulations for hazardous chemicals, etc. At the same time, American and European safety experts will be invited to carry out technical training on chemical process safety management (PSM), safety instrumentation system functional safety (SIS) and quantitative risk assessment (QRA).

In order to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation between governments, enterprises and scientific research institutions at home and abroad, promote the popularization and application of advanced management experience and technology in the chemical industry, encourage the chemical industry to actively adopt new technologies, new equipment and new processes, and improve the safety production and response of the chemical industry in China. At the same time, the 4th China International Chemical Safety Technology and Equipment Exhibition will be held in the same place by the China Chemical Safety Association and the International Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Emergency Management.
