The net profit of Yangquan Chemical Industrty was 25.73 million yuan

On August 25, Yangquan Chemical Industry (600691) recently released its semi-annual report for 2019. The announcement showed that its revenue during the reporting period was 9.085 billion yuan, down 7.53% from the same period last year; the net profit of shareholders belonging to listed companies was 25.7312 million yuan, down 82.29% from the same period last year; and the basic earnings per share was 0.0108 yuan. The same period last year was 0.0828 yuan.
It is understood that during the reporting period, the industry in which the company operates has been slightly weakened, the industry's prosperity has declined, the product price has shown a downward trend, and the overall situation of the industry is not optimistic. During the reporting period, the company produced 1.737 million tons of urea, 225,200 tons of refined methanol, 204,200 tons of caustic soda, 167,900 tons of ethylene glycol, 120,200 tons of polyvinyl chloride and 89,300 tons of propylene. During the reporting period, the company realized business income of 9.085 billion yuan, a decrease of 740 million yuan over the same period of 9.825 billion yuan, and realized total profits of 0.344 billion yuan, a decrease of 245 million yuan over the same period of 279 million yuan. According to the data, Yangquan Chemical Industry is mainly engaged in the production and sale of coal chemical products and chemical equipment, the manufacture of chemical machinery and equipment, and the research and development of chemical products.
