Environmental Protection Supervision in Shenmu Coal Mine

Environmental inspections are really coming! According to the latest market knowledge, the environmental protection inspection team has formally entered the Shenmu regional coal mine, and formally began to carry out environmental protection inspection in the five regions of Shenmu. Shenmu Dongliang, Julong, Yinwan and other coal mines have been inspected. According to the reaction of mining enterprises, the environmental protection inspection has little effect on mechanical mining, which meets the standards and has sound procedures. The Bureau of Ecology and Environment has appointed 20 environmental law enforcement officers to form a supervision group to conduct a one-month general inspection of environmental law enforcement in Yulin. It is reported that the inspection team has been stationed in Shenmu Coal Mine, Shenmudian Tower and other regional coal mines began to be inspected. From the inspection, there are five main problems in the enterprises concerned:

1. Some of the blue charcoal enterprises have not fully utilized the waste gas and some of them are directly discharged. The tail gas of five orchid-carbon enterprises in Wuzhou, Lianzhong and Xintai of Caragana Tower Industrial Park are all used by Jieneng Power Plant of Shenmu Energy Development Co., Ltd. Through on-site investigation and analysis, the output of waste gas of five orchid-carbon enterprises exceeds the use of Jieneng Power Plant, and the suspected excess tail gas is directly discharged.

2. Coal-related enterprises did not take dust control measures in the process of loading, unloading and screening of raw coal. The environment-friendly coal yard of Guixinrong Coal Washing Plant in Shenmu City has not been built, and a large number of raw coal and slime are stored in the open air.

3. The flue gas treatment facilities of coal-fired boilers in some enterprises do not operate and the flue gas is directly discharged. A coal-fired boiler in Yangya Coal Mine is in use. The dust removal system stops operation and the smoke is discharged directly.

4. Municipal engineering failed to implement dust control measures as required. Shenmu Xincun Municipal Road Project and Urban Riverside Avenue Heating Pipeline Network Project are under construction. The enclosure construction of two sites is incomplete, bare soil is not covered, and no measures of sprinkling water and dust suppression are adopted in the construction process.

5. Yuyang Ruishen Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. did not stop production as required. At the time of inspection, one coking oven was still in illegal production.
