2019 science and technology award of China Coal Industry Association

Recently, China Coal Industry Association issued the decision on awarding projects and individuals of science and technology award of China Coal Industry Association in 2019, with a total of 304 projects awarded. Among them, Taiyuan Research Institute of China Coal Science and technology group and other units completed the key technology and equipment project of integrated rapid excavation, support and transportation, and won the special prize. According to the law of the people's Republic of China on science and technology progress and the measures for science and technology award of China Coal Industry Association, China Coal Industry Association and China Coal Society organized the review and appraisal of science and technology award of China Coal Industry Association in 2019.

This activity has received 700 scientific and technological achievements declared by coal enterprises and institutions, scientific research institutes and institutions of higher learning. After professional evaluation and comprehensive evaluation by the expert group, approval and publicity by the evaluation committee, a total of 304 award-winning projects were evaluated. Among them, there are 1 Grand Prize, 37 first prizes, 116 second prizes and 150 Third Prizes. The decision points out that the award-winning projects cover all professional fields of the coal industry, which are innovative and representative in relevant fields, and have achieved better economic and social benefits, truly reflecting the scientific and technological level of the coal industry. The winners and units have made outstanding contributions to the scientific and technological progress of the coal industry and set an example for the scientific and technological innovation and development of the industry. It is hoped that all award-winning units and personnel will continue to carry forward the spirit of innovation, improve the management mechanism of scientific research, increase the investment in scientific research funds, improve the collaborative innovation ability of industry, University and research, be realistic, pragmatic and innovative, and make greater contributions to the scientific level of the development of the coal industry.
