CPI in Beijing Rose 3.2% year on year in November
On December 11, Beijing Municipal Bureau of statistics released data showing that in November, Beijing's CPI rose 3.2% year on year. In terms of average growth from January to November, CPI rose 2.2% year on year, maintaining overall stability. According to the data, in November, the price of food, tobacco and alcohol rose by 9% year on year, which affected the CPI increase by about 2.25 percentage points, and the price of livestock meat rose by 54.7% year on year as the biggest factor. Among them, the price of pork rose by 112.9%, affecting the CPI rise by about 1.28%. Under the influence of substitution effect, the price of beef, mutton and poultry also increased by 19.8%, 13.1% and 28.1% respectively. It should be noted that although the year-on-year increase of CPI in the city has expanded under the influence of pork this month, the month on month increase of CPI in the city in November is slowly declining, with 0.1% decreasing by 0.4 percentage points compared with that in October, which is also the low point since April this year. In November, the city's pork price fell for four weeks. According to the data of Beijing Xinfadi market, on November 1, the average wholesale price of Baitiao pig market was 23.63 yuan / kg; as of November 30, the average wholesale price of Baitiao pig became the lowest price of the month with 17.25 yuan / kg, a decrease of 27% compared with the beginning of the month.
"The biggest characteristic of the trend of meat price in November is that the price has dropped continuously, with a significant decline. Although the monthly weighted average price has a small decline on a month-on-month basis, looking at the price trend from October to November, the meat price in October is continuously higher, while the price in November is continuously declining. " Liu Tong, director of the market statistics department of Xinfadi, pointed out. Liu Tong further said that the price of pork fell. On the one hand, since September, pig production capacity has entered the stage of capacity recovery, and with the implementation of policies and measures to ensure supply and price stability introduced by the government, the supply capacity has gradually increased; on the other hand, part of the power of the continuous rise of meat price in October stems from the expectation of high prices in the later period, and the decline in November also reflects the expected cooling down Cheng. On December 6, the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas issued the three-year action plan for accelerating the recovery and development of pig production, which requires the supply of pork market to be basically stable during the Spring Festival next year and the national "two sessions". At the same time, it encourages the establishment of cross regional breeding bases. Beijing, Shanghai and other mega cities need to control the supply of pigs to reach 70% of the consumption demand. On December 10, the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas held a symposium on the development of large pig breeding enterprises to help small and medium-sized farmers in Mianyang, Sichuan Province.
It emphasized that the enterprises and small and medium-sized farmers could achieve a win-win situation through the ways of "company + farmers" and trusteeship leasing. On the same day, the Chinese business reserve commodity management center, which specializes in the management of national reserve meat, issued a document saying that it would provide competitive trading to enterprises 40000 tons of frozen pork were put into the central reserve. "We believe that the price of meat in the later period will basically remain near the price at the end of November. Even when it comes to the peak consumption before the Spring Festival, the possibility of a sharp rebound in prices is low because of the simultaneous increase in the number of pigs on the market. We need to pay attention to the fact that after the Spring Festival, because some of the pigs will be released before the Spring Festival, the supply capacity of the pigs after the festival may not be as good as before the festival. " Liu said. In addition to pork, fresh vegetable prices in November rose 7.1% month on month and 7.3% year on year due to the difficulty of storage and transportation. According to Liu Tong, the price is higher than that of the same period last year, which is mainly due to the centralized listing of many vegetables last year, which makes it difficult to sell a variety of vegetables. This year, the vegetables staggered the listing period and the price fell. At the same time, fresh fruits and melons were in sufficient supply in November, with prices down 8.5%. On the non food side, data showed that in addition to the 0.3% increase in health care prices, education, culture and entertainment, other goods and services, transportation and communication prices fell by 1.7%, 1.2% and 0.8%, respectively.
