The total capacity of newly-added MMA units was 150kt/a. It was heard that units will be put into operation in H2 November. It will take a while for the new products to enter the market.
Then, the overall operating rate in the Chinese MMA industry is normal currently.

Most shut MMA units restarted in November. The overall operating rate has recovered to 70%-80%.
Finally, the units in Asia were shut frequently in November. Hence, the import volume of MMA didn’t increase.

The downstream demand for MMA will continue to be modest. It is predicted that the Chinese MMA market will continue to move marginally in H2, November.
