Low back pain due to kidney deficiency is another symptom of chronic low back pain. Most of them are caused by insufficient congenital endowment, excessive fatigue or long-term illness, or old age, or ventricular dysfunction, which leads to kidney essence deficiency and inability to nourish the waist and spine, resulting in pain. Modern medicine believes that low back pain due to kidney deficiency is mostly related to the decline in adrenal cortical hormone levels, especially the decrease in sex hormone secretion and protein deficiency, which is similar to the metabolic bone disease - osteoporosis. It is a compensatory disease caused by the loss of inherent vitality of osteoblasts, resulting in insufficient bone matrix. The spine with osteoporosis often has a biconcave deformity (Figure 152), and even if it suffers a minor trauma, it is easy to cause compression fractures, but the histological and chemical composition of the bone are normal.
