Renal oncocytoma
Renal oncocytoma is a type of renal adenoma, which is relatively rare in clinical practice, accounting for about 4.3% of renal parenchymal tumors. It is generally a benign tumor. Typical cases are unilateral lesions, 10% are multiple, and a few are bilateral lesions. It is more common in men than in women. The size of the tumor varies, with an average diameter of 6 cm. The gross specimen is yellow-brown or light brown, with a central dense fiber band and fiber trabeculae.
