Age-related macular degeneration
Senile macular degeneration is also called age-related macular degeneration or aging macular degeneration. Most cases start at around 50 years old, and the older the age, the higher the incidence rate. There is no obvious relationship between the onset and gender or race. Both eyes are affected at the same time or one after another. Due to different clinical manifestations, it is divided into two types: atrophic and exudative.
