Post-exam syndrome
Post-exam syndrome refers to the symptoms of excessive mental burden, excessive tension, anxiety, irritability, depression, and even serious mental disorders after the exam. After the college entrance examination and the high school entrance examination, candidates and parents breathed a sigh of relief. However, many candidates have different degrees of "post-exam syndrome" such as "anxiety of waiting for results" and "pessimism of failed candidates". Psychologists analyzed that after the exam, students may experience "post-exam syndrome" due to poor performance or too high expectations. Candidates and parents should provide timely guidance and adjustment. "Post-exam syndrome" has become a common phenomenon. In particular, candidates who did not perform well in the exam may even develop stress disorders such as depression, autism, and indifference. If not handled properly, it will have a long-term negative psychological impact on the candidates and affect their development.
