Spinal tuberculosis with paraplegia

Spinal tuberculosis complicated with paraplegia is caused by a combination of factors such as the cavity fluid, caseous material, dead bone or necrotic disc in the lesion. In the late stage of the disease, the fibrotic scar of the granulation tissue in the spinal canal may surround the spinal cord, and the vertebral body may be pathologically dislocated or subluxated.
