Chronic sinusitis
Chronic sinusitis is a chronic suppurative inflammation of the sinus mucosa. Acute cases are more common, among which chronic maxillary sinusitis is the most common, and it often coexists with chronic ethmoid sinusitis. If there are lesions in one or both sinuses, it is called multiple sinusitis or pansinusitis. Chronic ethmoid sinusitis or sphenoid sinusitis alone only accounts for a small number of cases.
