Renal vein thrombosis in neonates
Renal vein thrombosis (RVT) is renal vein thrombosis. Primary NRVT is mainly related to dehydration, increased blood viscosity and reduced renal blood flow. Increased blood thickness and viscosity lead to decreased renal flow and reduced renal oxygenation, followed by renal edema and increased renal vascular pressure, which ultimately leads to renal venous thrombosis. Its clinical manifestations lack specificity and are often masked by critical underlying diseases, so there is no exact incidence and mortality data to date.
