Essential Tremor
Essential tremor (ET), also known as familial or benign essential tremor, is a common movement disorder in clinical practice. It is inherited in an autosomal dominant manner, with postural or action tremor as the only manifestation. It progresses slowly or does not progress for a long time. At present, age is considered to be an important risk factor for ET, and the prevalence increases with age. The onset is slow. It can occur at any age, but it usually starts in adults.
