Cryptococcosis
Cryptococcosis is a subacute or chronic deep fungal disease caused by Cryptococcus neoformans in the genus Cryptococcus. It can invade the human skin, lungs, bones and other organs throughout the body, but the most common invasion is the central nervous system, accounting for about 80% of cryptococcal infections. The prognosis is serious and the mortality rate is high. In recent years, due to the emergence and spread of AIDS, the incidence of cryptococcal infection has shown a clear upward trend.
