Vaginal wall polyps (granulation tissue at the top of the vagina) are growths that grow on the surface of the vaginal mucosa. They are a type of granulation tissue polyp, and most of them are the product of the wound repair process. Granulation tissue, as a new matrix, is formed about 4 days after the wound appears.
