Hereditary spherocytosis
Abdominal Apoplexy Syndrome, also known as hereditary spherocytosis, is a disease with congenital defects in the red blood cell membrane. It is characterized by a chronic course accompanied by acute onset of hemolytic anemia and jaundice, an increase in spherocytosis in the blood, and increased osmotic fragility of red blood cells.
