Uveitis associated with diabetes
Diabetes is a common disease. There are generally four types of uveitis associated with diabetes: ① uveitis associated with diabetes itself, which mainly manifests as anterior uveitis; ② infectious uveitis (endophthalmitis). The chance of diabetic patients developing endogenous infectious endophthalmitis is greatly increased compared with normal people; ③ accompanied by some specific types of uveitis, but it is difficult to confirm whether the two are accidental coincidences or have an intrinsic connection; ④ infectious endophthalmitis or sterile endophthalmitis after intraocular surgery.
